What does counselling involve?Counselling is based on a trusting relationship between two people meeting in a confidential setting, normally the client's home.A counsellor will offer support and understand your situation and will help you to explore difficulties, and find strengths within yourself. What does it cost? The service is offered to any member of the Jewish community at no charge. In order to maintain the quality of the service, the JBCS depends on funding from the Visitation Committee of the United Synagogue, as well as donations from individuals, trusts and foundations in the community for support. Donations are always appreciated and when made through "Gift Aid", the service receives additional benefit from your contribution. |
